Built around a conversation
Sometimes the difficult part of practice is knowing what to do next. You might be holding your first guitar, returning after years away, or trying to make a familiar chord sound cleaner.
We’re developing Alister so you can explain what you are working on, ask a question and revisit something that has not clicked. The aim is a lesson that starts with you, rather than asking you to follow the same video from the beginning every time.
Guitar first. Room to grow.
Guitar is our first instrument. Our wider ambition covers different ages, abilities and musical goals. Features and supported learner routes will be explained when the service opens; we are still testing the teaching experience.
Other instruments are a future direction. They are not available to book or use on this website.
See the face. Know the context.
The silent Alister clip on our homepage is a recorded avatar demonstration. It shows his appearance and animation, rather than a live guitar lesson. The example conversations are authored illustrations.
Alister is an AI character, not a human tutor. LIVEai is separate from My Music Lessons’ human-taught LIVE service.
While we get ready
You can already use our free guitar practice guides. They cover reading a chord diagram, making an E-minor chord and putting together a short practice routine.
Live sessions, account creation and payments are not open yet. Visit our release page for the current position.
